( 2.8 / 18 )Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it! The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50 each! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.
In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. "Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each." The villagers rounded up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys.
Then they never saw the man nor his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys! Now you have a better understanding of how the stock market works.

( 2.8 / 63 )Pay down high-interest debts such as credit cards, store cards and personal loans.
This is an absolute priority. Store cards can charge interest of up to 30 per cent and minimum payments will simply not pay the balance off quickly enough. If you lose your job, the last thing you need are debts accruing interest at such a rapid pace. Eliminate debts with the highest interest rates first then work down.

( 3 / 57 )Google Chrome is a new browser from google. It's free, so it's not going to get me into further debt :B
I have been using Chrome since the beta was first released to the public a few days ago. Here is some info about what I have found, and why Google Chrome is my default web browser:
Google Chrome is soooo FAST! I can do my daily entrecard drops in no time at all, giving me more time to do other things.
Sleek simple design. Navigation is easy, and the browser opens instantly. I suspect this is due to the fact that Chrome uses about 80% less memory than FireFox. The home button is missing by default, but can easily be added by going into options.
The default homepage has a list of your most visited websites complete with thumbnails of those websites. If you prefer the traditional homepage of your choice, you can do that too by going into options.
Holding down the left mouse button on the Back Button will bring up a list of the previous pages you visited, so you can easily jump back a few pages.
Under the hood, Google Chrome is impressive. It's a bit too technical for me to talk about here, but is explained better in the online comic found here.
A Limited Edition hardcopy of the Google Chrome comic was made available to a lucky few. One such copy is up for auction at eBay here.
I also found an unofficial Chrome Forum here.
Google Chrome is currently only available for Windows XP and Vista. But Mac and Linux versions are on the way.

No! It doesn't have to be that way. Think of all the money you will be saving by not paying interest, and instead building wealth.
